Gary Hoey Wails On

Gary Hoey embarks on a summer tour in June. The fierce guitarist will be making stops in cities such as San Francisco, Seattle and Milwaukee.

Hoey’s 20th album, Dust & Bones, drops July 29 via Provogue / Mascot Label Group and features 11 originals. The long-time musician is known for his signature style and technique. The Boston native got his first break in 1987 when he auditioned for Ozzy Osbourne. The gig went to Zakk Wylde but Osbourne encouraged Hoey to relocate to Los Angeles, which he did and has been wowing audiences ever since.

Hoey headlines most shows except the Westford Blues N Brews Festival and will appear with Boston and Blue Oyster Cult in St. Charles, Mo., and again with Boston in Seattle.
