Beyoncé Fans Evacuate Stadium Due To Storm Threat

The threat of severe weather temporarily forced Beyoncé fans to evacuate an outdoor stadium in Minneapolis just before the concert was scheduled to start.

Law enforcement and staff at TCF Bank Stadium made the decision to evacuate the packed venue Monday night because lightning was spotted nearby. The crowd of about 35,000 was moved to the concourse and to nearby indoor arenas on the University of Minnesota campus. Within the hour the ‘all clear’ was given and fans moved back to their seats.

Aside from a few sprinkles, the storm predicted to arrive at concert time held off.
