Coldplay Takes ‘Head Full of Dreams’ Tour Downunder

Coldplay extends its “A Head Full of Dreams” tour to Australian and New Zealand during the beginning of the southern summer.

The tour so far has sold 2 million tickets, according to Live Nation, with upcoming shows including four sold-out nights at London’s  in June. It is the British band’s first visit down under since it passed through in November 2012 as part of the Mylo Xyloto Tour.

The band stops at Mt. Smart Stadium in Auckland, Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Etihad Stadium in Melbourne and Allianz Stadium in Sydney Dec. 3-13.

Live Nation added Lamb of God to Slipknot’s three arena shows Oct. 28-31. Both acts return after appearing in the 2015 edition of the now-defunct hard rock Soundwave festival.

Frontier Touring has Denmark’s Lukas Graham making his live debut with two club shows mid-August. Graham’s single “7 Years” spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the ARIA chart and went double platinum, while his self-titled debut album entered the ARIA chart at top spot.

U.S. rappers Method Man and Redman return for iLive as part of their Blackout Tour, taking in five clubs Sept. 8-12.
