Radiohead At Glastonbury 2016?

Did Michael Eavis reveal a secret? During a Q&A at Oxford University earlier this month the veteran promoter pulled out a list of this year’s lineup. On it: Radiohead.

While answering a student’s question, Eavis reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a sheet of paper, saying: “The selection this year’s amazing, isn’t it? Have you seen the full lineup? Bloody amazing really, quite honestly.”

He then proceeded to read out a couple of names, apparently written down on the list. One of them was Radiohead.

“Like Radiohead? Yeah, they’re good, aren’t they? Radiohead must be due for another crack at it. They’ve played it a few times, but they’re so good.”

Given that AdeleColdplay and Muse have already been announced as headliners, Radiohead would most likely play a secret gig, as they did in 2011, after officially headlining in 1997 and 2003. Glatonbury takes place June 22-26 at Worthy Farm in Pilton, England.

In other news, the Bristol Post reports that the festival’s organizers were fined £31,000 for the 2014 waste spill that polluted nearby Whitelake River and killed 42 fish. Watch the interview below. The question in question is popped at minute 39:50.
