The company pushing the project, PlugIN, has five locations in Israel. The Gulfstream Park venue will cost $2.5 million and will fill 11,000 square feet with 18 private karaoke rooms of various sizes and studio and visual technology, according to the Sun Sentinel.
The company’s song library includes 50,000 tracks in multiple languages, and the model provides beverage and dining service on demand. U.S. spokeswoman for PlugIN Ally Golan told the paper the company is expecting the South Florida location to succeed and is already looking at New York and other markets in the U.S.
