The Beach Boys Continue ‘Good Vibrations’

The Beach Boys add fall and winter dates to its “50 Years of Good Vibrations” tour. The North American trek includes stops in Canada, Texas and Florida.

This year’s outing celebrates the half century since the 1966’s single “Good Vibrations” and album Pet Sounds was released. Notable shows feature two appearances in Washington, D.C., including the National Memorial Day Concert that airs live on PBS May 29 and a performance with the National Symphony Orchestra at The Kennedy Center in July.

The current touring lineup is Mike Love, Bruce Johnston, Scott Totten, Jeffrey Foskett, Brian Eichenberger, Tim Bonhomme and John Cowsill. Love releases his memoir, “Good Vibrations: My Life as a Beach Boy” via Blue Rider Press Sept. 13. The band will offer VIP packages June 1 that include backstage access, Q&A session, band memorabilia and a copy of Love’s book.
