Tanya Tucker Is No Faded Rose
Tucker broke through the music scene in 1972 with her debut album Delta Dawn. The Academy of Country Music awarded the 13-year-old Top New Female Vocalist that same year. ACM will honor her again with the Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award at the 10th Annual ACM Honors Aug. 30. The ceremony will be broadcast on CBS at a later date.
Her current run will showcase songs from her 40-year career catalog such as “Texas, When I Die,” “Some Kind of Trouble” and “Love Me Like You Used To.”
