Virtuoso Bassist Ready To Hamm It Up

Stu Hamm, who has backed legends such as Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, is hitting the road with Jeff Bowders and Kim SeHwang to play 26 shows over one month this summer.

The tour kicks off June 22 in Phoenix, Ariz. at Joe’s Grotto and runs around North America. Some notable stops on the docket are  in New York and  in Jerome, Idaho.

Prior to the tour, he also has shows scheduled in Asbury Park, N.J., and Newport, Ky., in June.

The trio, performing as The Stu Hamm Rock Experience, will play songs from Hamm’s time with Vai and Satriani, as well as fan requests he always hears like “Linus and Lucy.”

“I finally decided to give the folks what they want, and it felt like a good time to revisit some of my favorite musical moments of my career,” Hamm said in a press release. “And To RAAAAWKK!”

Bowders has played drums with Satriani and Michelangelo and SeHwang is one of the most decorated guitarists to emerge from South Korea, having performed with the .
