Prophets Of Rage Sets Dates

Toronto, Brooklyn, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Dallas are just a few of the cities on the Prophets Of Rage routing.  First stop?  Cleveland and the Republican National Convention.

With Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk; Public Enemy’s Chuck D and DJ Lord; and Cypress Hill’s B-Real, the bulk of the tour mixing music, politics, social issues and rage runs Aug. 19-Oct. 16.  However, the official launch is designated as July 19 in Cleveland during the Republican Convention, at a venue to be announced.

What can fans expect from Prophets Of Rage?  Morello describes the group as an “elite task force of revolutionary musicians determined to confront this mountain of election year bullshit.”

“Dangerous times demand dangerous songs,” the band said collectively, urging fans to spread the message through social media via #MakeAmericaRAGEAgain and #TakeThePowerBack.
