The Head and the Heart Ready To Start Touring

The 23 new dates are all over the country, with no shows in Canada. The band does have a number of gigs already scheduled in the summer though, including festival appearances at Ottawa Bluesfest, Regina Folk Festival, Edmonton Folk Festival and Winnipeg Folk Festival.

The first show on the tour is in St. Louis, Mo. on Oct. 3 and the dates span just over a month until Nov. 6.

The Head and the Heart recently promised Signs of Light, the band’s third album, would hit the stores Sept. 9, and shared a new single, titled “All We Ever Knew.”

Declan McKenna, who recently announced his first U.S. tour in August, will be at most of the shows on the “Signs of Light” tour, but Swedish folkie The Tallest Man On Earth will be in Los Angeles and Berkeley, Calif.

The first three shows on the tour are the only ones which will not include TTMOE or McKenna.
