Tool Books October Outing

The outing marks the band’s first performances since its January tour with Primus. We weren’t joking when we said the October excursion is brief. So far, it only consists of gigs in Salt Lake City, Denver and North Little Rock. Maynard James Keenan & Co. have been known to add a few more dates at a time, so maybe more are coming. For now, here’s the plan:

Oct. 24 – Salt Lake City, Utah, Maverik Center
Oct. 26 – Denver, Colo., Pepsi Center          
Oct. 28 – North Little Rock, Ark., Verizon Arena

A limited amount of VIP tickets will be available “as a salute to our distinguished Tool Army members who may want to reap the benefits of membership and get more of the Tool concert experience than that of more casual fans.” The Tool Army presale begins June 8 at 10 a.m. PDT.

The VIP treatment includes early entry into the venue, a VIP ticket, a live Q&A session with guitarist Adam Jones, a VIP merchandise pack, photo ops, light refreshments and more. The band’s announcement notes that the Q&A session is subject to change with another band member.

General ticket onsales begin June 10 at 10 a.m. local time.
