Miike Snow Extends U.S. Routing

Miike Snow has been racking up glowing reviews of its recent festival appearances, with praise for the energetic performances and the crowds the band has been attracting. Thanks to a new batch of fall headline dates, you can see for yourself what the critics are raving about.

Consequence Of Sound included Miike Snow’s set in its “Boston Calling 2016 Festival Review: From Worst To Best.” The Swedish trio evidently impressed CoS writer Ryan Bray.

Bray writes, “Festivalgoers were in need of a second wind late Saturday afternoon after hours spent in the heat with precious little shade. Enter Miike Snow, who enthusiastically ushered in the dance portion of the second day’s proceedings. Throwing everything from glam and ’70s soft pop in with a more contemporary dance rock sound, the Swedish band used fan favorites like ‘Gengis Khan’ to prime the crowd for the rest of what the festival had in store Saturday night.”

“Gengish Khan” hails from Miike Snow’s third studio album, appropriately titled iii. Released in March via Downtown/Atlantic, the LP also includes the single “Heart Is Full.”
