Take It From Kongos
Egomaniac is the follow-up release to Kongos’ sophomore LP, Lunatic, which spawned the RIAA double-platinum track, “Come With Me Now.” The latest album boasts 13 new tracks such as “I Don’t Mind,” “Autocorrect” and “Look At Me.” The band appears on NBC’s “The Today Show” June 15 for a live performance of its latest single, “Take It From Me.”
The quartet begins its fall outing in Las Vegas Sept. 23 for the three-day Life Is Beautiful Festival. The first leg of the tour wraps in the group’s hometown of Phoenix, Ariz., Oct. 29 for a unique show that’s being called “Dia De Los Kongos.” Along with The Joy Formidable, the gig features The Technicolors, Bear Ghost, Nanami Ozone, and Treasurefruit.
