Descendents Return From College

Descendents are back with its first new album in 12 years. In support of the upcoming release, the band kicks off a trek across the U.S. in September that includes stops in Minneapolis, Chicago, San Diego and Boston. Special guests Modern BaseballBeach SlangFucked Up, and Bully appear on select dates.

Formed in the L.A. area in 1978, Descendents dropped its debut full-length, Milo Goes To College, in 1982 and became pop-punk pioneers mixing hardcore with melody. Throughout the ’80s, the group self-managed and produced their own albums.

The band’s next LP, Hypercaffium Spazzinate, drops July 29 via Epitaph Records. And being the cool cats that they are, the group is making it available on glow-in-the-dark vinyl. Say what?
