Fan Falls In Oracle Arena Scuffle

A man was in critical but stable condition in an Oakland, Calif., hospital June 19 after falling from the second to first deck at Oracle Arena after Game 7 of the NBA finals.

Oakland Police Department spokeswoman Johnna Watson said the man got into a fight within another fan after the Warriors lost to the Cavaliers, and subsequently fell over a protective railing.

KCBS reports that the name of the man, who is in his 20s, is being withheld.

OPD’s felony assault unit is investigating the incident.
