Tony Lucca Doubles Up
Lucca is a singer-songwriter who was born into a large musical family in Michigan. In the mid ’90s he relocated to Los Angeles after four seasons on “The All New Mickey Mouse Club.” Although he found many opportunities in acting, music was his true passion. In 1997 he self-released his debut, So Satisfied, and years later came in third place on season two of “The Voice.”
Lucca is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Canyon Songs, a 10-track LP known as the “crown jewel” of his musical catalog. The album will be played in its entirety at 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville June 22 with a recording of the live session released later this year. Lucca will be joined onstage at the event by tour mate Lopez, David Cook, and Lady Antebellum guitarist Jason “Slim” Gambill and others.
“It’s always nice to see the calendar chock full of dates, knowing all the cities and venues I’ll be seeing this year, not to mention all the fans, friends and family I’ll be getting to perform for,” Lucca said. “Even better is getting the opportunity to share the stage with some of my favorite artists of the last decade. Both Alex and Tyrone set the bar mighty high, both in their own fashion. I’m really looking forward to these dates.”
