Details of the long-term agreement weren’t released. The deal was negotiated in connection with AEG Global Partnerships and represents the first naming rights partnership between a ticketing company and major entertainment venue in China. The 18,000-capacity, multipurpose Damai Center was originally built for events during the 2013 China National Games.

The building sports 40 VIP suites and hosts top sports events and entertainment, including shows by Justin Bieber, the Backstreet Boys, Andy Lau, and Jolin Tsai. Mercedes-Benz Arena is another of China’s top sports and entertainment venues and, like Damai Center, is part of AEG Facilities’ worldwide network.

“We are pleased to have this opportunity to expand our relationship with Damai,” AEG China President/CEO John Cappo said. “We have always had great respect and admiration for Damai, with their exploration and innovative contributions to the entertainment industry in recent years. It’s because of their tremendous success throughout China and their dedication to creating great customer service experiences that makes this such an important partnership for AEG as well the millions of fans that will benefit from this collaboration in the coming years.”
