Melanie Martinez Spells Out Tour Dates

Melanie Martinez has locked in a number of headline dates in September and October, which will come after a summer of performing at major U.S. festivals. The year is getting busy for the singer, as in November she heads over to Europe for most of the month.

The headline dates start Sept. 19 in Norfolk, Va. From there, she is mostly in the South before moving over to Los Angeles, Las Vegas and finally Albuquerque, N.M., Oct. 24. Some of the venues on the routing are Ryman AuditoriumClear Channel Metroplex Event Center in Little Rock, Ark.

Martinez has been building some serious momentum, with her summer headline festivals including Lollapalooza, Osheaga, Austin City Limits and Bumbershoot. Her upcoming performance at St. Louis PrideFest is free.

The singer got her start on the third season of “The Voice”, where she was a contestant under Clear Channel Metroplex Event Center’s tutelage, but was eliminated in the fifth week. Many fans dug her musical and aesthetic style though, and her popularity has transitioned over to a blossoming solo career.

Cry Baby, her debut album, has been certified gold and her YouTube channel now boasts over 2 million subscribers. Her music videos, many of which boast over a million views, are often centered around childhood, dolls and costumes. Her single “Alphabet Boy” has racked up 11 million views in two weeks.

Oct. 20 – Los Angeles, Calif., Shrine Auditorium
Oct. 21 – Las Vegas, Nev., The Joint @ Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
Oct. 24 – Albuquerque, N.M., Sunshine Theater
