Elle, Oh Elle King

Elle King, blues pop-rocker extraordinaire, is likely headed a town near you. The “Ex’s & Oh’s” songstress will be at festivals for most of the summer, has a number of dates lined up supporting Dixie Chicks, and now she has announced a headline tour to boot.

Her solo shows start Oct. 17 in San Diego, Calif., at the . King actually plays at five HOB venues throughout the tour. The last date scheduled is Nov. 22 at the  in New York. Some other notable stops on that routing include  in Austin, Texas, and  in Atlanta.

Prior to those gigs King will be at a number of summer festivals. She plays  and Milwaukee’s  in the Midwest, on back to back dates, July 7 and 8. Her last scheduled festival appearance is at  in West Springfield, Mass., Sept. 24, the only date overlapping with her support run for Dixie Chicks.

While she plays with the Dixie Chicks from Sept. 8 to Oct. 10 she will be taking the stage in full-fledged arenas:  in Los Angeles;  in Columbus, Ohio;  in North Little Rock, Ark.; and many others.
