Atmosphere Books ‘Freshwater Fly Fishermen Tour’

Atmosphere has got the blues, but that’s good news for fans. The Minneapolis hip hop duo announced details about its new album, “Fishing Blues,” this week and unveiled the routing for a North American tour that begins in September.

Due out Aug. 12 on Rhymesayers, Fishing Blues marks the act’s seventh studio album. The LP is described as “a collection of songs that both define and redefine the Atmosphere sound.” The 18-track album includes appearances from DOOM, Aesop Rock, Kool Keith, and The Grouch.

The “Freshwater Fly Fishermen Tour” launches Sept. 8 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, following a previously announced Sept. 2 show at the famed Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo.
