Opeth Conjures ‘Sorceress’ Tour
Opeth’s 12th studio album, Sorceress, drops later this year via Moderbolget Records/Nuclear Blast Entertainment. The band formed in Stockholm in 1990 and planted their roots in the death metal scene, however over time the group has been praised for their willingness to experiment and incorporate other musical influences such as jazz, progressive, and blues into their hard- edged sound.
The lineup has underwent various changes since Opeth’s beginning but the current members include Mikael Åkerfeldt (vocals, guitar), Martin Mendez (bass), Fredrik Åkesson (guitar), Martin Axenrot (drums) and Joakim Svalberg (keys).
