Jah Wobble Shakes North America

After ten years away, Jah Wobble is returning to the U.S. with his Invaders of the Heart for a tour to promote his new album.

The first show on the docket is the Bowery Ballroom in New York Sept. 21, and the handful of dates run westward from there, ending at The Echoplex in Los Angeles Oct. 2.

Jah Wobble’s bass playing and composition have been a force in the music industry for over 35 years. He rose to prominence with Public Image Ltd., a collaboration with Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols, and moved onto a successful solo career from there. He has collaborated with the likes of Sinead O’Connor and Bjork.

The new Invaders of the Heart album, Everything Is No Thing, will be out Aug. 29, and was produced by Youth, who said the album was “one of the most favorite sessions I’ve ever done.” Jah Wobble also painted the cover art.
