New World Artists Expands To Brisbane

New World Artists (NWA) agency – whose clients include former Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns, R&B singer Tina Arena, hip-hop act Allday, hard rock band Northlane and alt-folk band The Outdoor Type – has expanded to Brisbane, Queensland.

NWA, headquartered in Sydney, also has an office in Melbourne. NWA appointed Brisbane artist manager and booker Dominic Miller. He has brought to NWA’s roster five acts, including Brisbane’s Babaganouj and Good Boy, and Sydney’s Caitlin Park.

Miller will continue to independently book live music venues The Zoo and Black Bear Lodge. NWA becomes the first national agency with a presence in Brisbane, a city which launched the global careers of Savage Garden, The Go-Betweens and Sheppard, among others.

Miller said, “Live music has always been my absolute passion and New World Artists are truly dedicated to their artists. The ethos of the business matches my artist-focused approach, so naturally I answered the call with appropriate enthusiasm. Let’s do this!”

His appointment expands NWA’s staff count to six. Head agent Owen Orford, Julia Davis, Edwin Tehrani and Pat Davis-Meehan work from Sydney, while Tom Johannesen is based in Melbourne.
