Van Morrison Keeps Singing

Van Morrison unveils a run through the U.K. to follow his handful of October U.S. shows.  Touring in support of his upcoming “Keep Me Singing” album, Morrison’s destinations include London, Glasgow, Liverpool and Edinburgh.

Morrison’s 36th studio album arrives Sept. 30 through Caroline Records.  The “Moondance” singer will drop the LP’s first single, a number called “Too Late,” that same day.

Keep Me Singing includes 12 original songs written by Morrison plus a cover of the blues classic “Share Your Love With Me,” penned by Alfred Baggs and Don Robey.  Artists who have recorded the song in the past include, Bobby “Blue” Bland Aretha Franklin and Kenny Rogers. Another track on the LP – “Every Time I See A River” – resulted from Morrison collaborating with lyricist Don Black. The album’s final track is the instrumental “Caledonia Swing” featuring Morrison on piano and sax.  All tracks were produced by Morrison.
