The Erie County District Attorney’s Office says Leland Burks used the stolen cards to book hotel rooms and buy tickets to Hart’s performance at the First Niagara Center in April 2015.

Burks received $12,710 in illegally obtained services and goods and was arraigned on fraud charges and identity theft in Erie County Court. He pleaded not guilty and is in county jail. Authorities say Burks was extradited from Alabama after he completed serving a sentence there.
