Adastra & Regent Music Form Strada Agency

Some of the most established names in jazz, world, Americana and folk music are now assembled under one roof in the UK with the formation of Stada Agency.

Besides representing its roster of about 80 acts, Strada will provide “a wealth of other services such as event/venue programming, festival organization, special projects & consultancy,” the announcement of the merger between Adastra and Regent reads.

Adastra agency was founded by Chris Wade in 1987, specializing in folk, roots, world and acoustic music. Wade was also instrumental in launching and developing Beverley Folk Festival.

Regent music was formed by Phil Simpson in 2012. The agency went on to merge with Graham Smout’s GPS Music.
