Ringo Starr Sets Dates For Fall Tour

Happy birthday to Ringo Starr and happy Thursday to all of his fans! The drummer celebrated his 76th bday today by announcing a new batch of tour dates with his All Starr Band.

Starr and his family, friends and special guests once again gathered in front of Capitol Records Building in Hollywood for a “Peace and Love” salute. He was joined by a group that included Benmont Tench, Bud Cort, Dave Stewart, David Lynch, Ed Begley Jr., Edgar Winter, Eric Burdon, Joe Montagna, Jim Keltner, Joe Walsh, Richard Lewis, Richard Marx, Steve Lukather and Gregg Bissonette.

Along with Lukather and Bissonette, the current All Starr lineup features Gregg Rolie, Todd Rundgren, Richard Page, and Warren Hamm.

After playing Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre July 2, the band’s next scheduled stop is Snoqualmie, Wash., Oct. 15.
