Hard Summer Adds NWA Members
MC Ren and DJ Yella will join headliner Ice Cube for the opening night of the Hard Summer festival at the end of this month an organizer recently revealed.

The announcement regarding the rappers came from HARD events founder Gary Richards on a Los Angeles radio station July 1. Ren, Yella and Cube were a part of N.W.A.’s meteoric rise to superstardom in the early ’90s and were subjects of the 2015 Hollywood blockbuster “Straight Outta Compton.”
The festival allows for camping and the venue has a maximum-capacity of 100,000, so odds are there will be plenty of people to pitch a tent next to.
Tickets are going for $179 plus fees for 2 days of general admission, and VIP passes start at $299 plus fees.
