Lissie’s Solo Travels

Lissie has lined up a series of solo dates beginning with a mid-September performance at West Hollywood’s famed Troubadour.  Tickets go on sale this week for shows in San Francisco, Minneapolis, Philadelphia and other fine cities.

Lissie’s new album, My Wild West, arrived earlier this year via Lionboy Records and Thirty Tigers in the U.S. and Cooking Vinyl in the U.K.  The LP has been described as a “fitting tribute” to the artist’s days in California and her return to the Midwest.

The Illinois-born singer/songwriter recently partnered with HelloGiggles for the premiere of her new acoustic video for “Sun Keeps Risin.’”

Lissie worked with charity:water to support International Women’s Day and raise awareness of the organization’s work to bring clean and safe drinking water to residents of developing nations.  By releasing her song “Daughters” as a pay-what-you-want download, Lissie raised more than $4,500 for the cause.  Of course, performing “Daughters” on CNN also helped spread the word about this worthy endeavor.

Oct. 12 – New York, N.Y., The Bowery Ballroom
Oct. 15 – Rock Island, Ill., Schwiebert Riverfront Park (Annual Laura’s Legacy Concert)
