Troy Ave Released
The Daily News says Troy Ave, whose real name is Roland Collins, was released Monday after posting $500,000 bail. The rapper must also surrender his passport, wear an ankle bracelet and is prohibited from attending any nightclubs, bars, arenas or stadiums.
The shooting erupted in a green room at Irving Plaza, just before the rapper T.I. was to perform.
One of Collins’ bodyguards, Ronald McPhatter, was killed. Three other people, including Collins, were wounded.
Attorney Scott Leemon says Collins, who’s charged with attempted murder, did not shoot McPhatter or himself.
At the hearing, prosecutors said Collins’ DNA was found on the gun used to kill McPhatter.
