While entertaining about 100 people at Lake Quassy Amusement Park & Waterpark, Jim Sisti invited several children on stage and asked them a number of questions as part of a trick, including their favorite food. When a little girl said her favorite dish was tacos, he replied, “Don’t let Donald Trump hear you say that.”

The joke was met with laughs from most, he said, but one audience member got up and ran at the stage. Sisti said the man began swearing at him and had to be escorted out of the park, which was confirmed by park officials.

While some parents were busy trying to cover their children’s ears from the profanity, others began catcalling the magician, showing support for the enraged audience member. Sisti said he hadn’t intended on taking sides and would have made a joke about Hillary Clinton if the subject of emails came up.

“I’ve never seen this kind of rage,” Sisti said. “This is the climate we’re living in now.”
