The music company will provide music acts for its upcoming events around Sydney and in regional NSW. Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events and Minister for Sport Stuart Ayres said: “This is the first time a major global entertainment company has partnered with an Australian tourism organisation and the partnership will greatly enhance our ability to secure world class musical talent and attract visitors to NSW.”
Sony’s domestic roster includes major acts such as Delta Goodrem, The Veronicas, Human Nature, John Farnham, Midnight Oil, Hoodoo Gurus, O’Shea, Rufus, Pete Murray and this year’s Eurovision Song Contest runner-up, Dami Im. It is expected that some international Sony acts may be involved in events.
