Primal Scream has announced a number of North American shows, including a stop in Mexico, in November, which is good news after the band was forced to cancel a chunk of its European routing.

The summer performances, which were mostly festival appearances, were axed after frontman Bobby Gillespie fell off the stage during a performance at  in Switzerland June 2.

The singer was instructed to rest for eight weeks, and the first show the band is scheduled to play is now Aug. 11 in Glasgow, Scotland, after which the group has a number of shows booked in the UK.

There are only six new North American dates, with the last one in Mexico City Nov. 9 at . The rest of the shows are all within the span of one week, from Nov. 1 in New York to Nov. 7 in San Francisco. The band also has plans to play in Tokyo in October.

The band’s latest album, Chaosmosis, released in March, and probably fits best into the electro-pop genre. 2013’s More Light is slower, and sounds much more like an indie-rock band, but fans of the band say one of its strengths is the number of styles it can switch between.

Here is the plan for North America:

Nov. 01 – New York, N.Y., Irving Plaza
Nov. 02 – Brooklyn, N.Y., Warsaw
Nov. 04 – Toronto, Ontario, The Danforth Music Hall
Nov. 05 – Los Angeles, Calif., The Regent Theater
Nov. 07 – San Francisco, Calif., The Fillmore
Nov. 09 – Condesa, Mexico, El Plaza Condesa

Tickets to these shows are on sale now. Check out PrimalScream.net for more updates.
