Steven Curtis Chapman Back On The Road
Christian singer and songwriter Steven Curtis Chapman has announced a third run of his “Songs & Stories” tour. This time, he will head out with Mac Powell of Third Day and Brandon Heath.
The format of the shows is that each singer takes the stage to share some of their favorite and best-known songs and shares stories of how those songs have affected people.
The tour starts in Philadelphia Sept. 15 at Christian Life Center and will go for just over a month, ending in Jacks in Milwaukee,
“I can’t tell you how excited I am to be on the stories and songs tour,” Mac Powell said in a press release. “I get to share more insight into some of my songs in a way they haven’t been shared before … To be able to share the stage once again with two of my favorite singer/songwriters in the business – Brandon Heath and Steven Curtis Chapman – will be amazing.”
Steven Curtis Chapman has recorded 23 albums of music, and is a leader in the Christian music genre. He is a prominent advocate for adoption and has adopted three children from China. His most recent project Worship and Believe was written as a companion to a church curriculum.
