The venue will sit between Borough Market and Tate Modern in Southwark. Its launch is part of “Low Line,” a long-term development project of London’s Southbank.

Mark Davyd told IQ Magazine that the Omeara would be the first of four venues to be built in London this year.

The promotions team of Lovett’s own company, Communion Music, will be in charge of booking, while Sky Tickets will take on ticketing.

“I’ve been playing and putting on shows in London for my entire adult life,” Lovett said in a statement. “Without the grass-roots music venues in this city, the band and I simply wouldn’t have achieved what we have, so I have a lot to be grateful for.”
