‘Oddball Comedy & Curiosity’ Coming Your Way

What does a laugh-starved nation have to look forward to while enduring seemingly endless political drama?  The fourth annual  “Funny Or Die Presents Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival Tour” launches in late August and includes Brian Regan, Dane Cook, Gabriel Iglesias and others on select dates.

The Funny Or Die people have put together a monstrous list of mirth-makers for the outing.  Also appearing on various stops will be Tracy Morgan, Hannibal Buress, Jim Jefferies, John Oliver, Nick Swardson, Sebastian Mansicalco, Tracy Morgan and much more.  Jay Pharoah, Bridget Everett, Big Jay Oakerson, Martin Moreno, Pete Davidson and Katherine Ryan are among the comical corps appearing on the tour.  The extravaganza will be hosted by Roastmaster General Jeff Ross.

But you’ll want to arrive early for the “show before the show” on Oddball’s second stage, now called “IFC’s Slightly Off Comedy Stage.”  For those of you who never read TV show credits, IFC is the outfit responsible for shows like “Portlandia,” “Documentary Now!” and “Comedy Bang! Bang!.”  The stage will be hosted by Big Jay Oakerson and will present local and up-and-coming comics in each city.

“We are thrilled to present another year of amazing comedy to fans across North America,” President of Live Nation Comedy Geof Wills said.  “With the breadth of talent we have on this year’s epic outing, comedy fans can expect Oddball 2016 to be one of the most entertaining evenings ever assembled!”
