The summer is all about festivals for the former Hotstar act. Including appearances this week at  and that festival’s , the band has 14 festival appearances scheduled in the U.S., Europe, Asia and the Pacific through September. There are also a number of headline dates set for South America.

The 1975 made waves with the release of its album I Like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it, blending ’80s-style synthesizers with R&B and rock influences for a distinct, upbeat sound. The band has been releasing a steady stream of music videos for the album’s content since last year, and the latest one come out earlier in the month.
