UTA Announces Hires, Promotions

United Talent Agency has hired Mary Petro and Ryan Soroka as agents in its music division along with promoting 13 to music agents and three to coordinators in the department.

Soroka joins UTA Music as agent in its clubs division working out of the New York office. He comes from the boutique Soroka Agency that he co-founded with Brad Wiseman and Equal Vision Records in 2010. Petro was previously at Columbia Artists Management and has been hired in UTA’s adult contemporary / performing arts centers division. She will also be based out of the New York office.

The promotions to agent include Ryan Edmundson, Joe Fucigna and Parrish McKittrick in New York; Emilio Grijalva, Zach Hyde, Chad Lehner, Darius Sabet and David Winther in Los Angeles; JD McCorkle in Nashville; Sarah Chipon, Stefanie Purificati and Rob Thornton in Toronto; and Alice Hogg (previously reported) in London.
