Kelsea Ballerini Announces ‘The First Time Tour’

After putting in time on the road supporting Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, and Dan + ShayKelsea Ballerini is all set to play her first-ever headline tour.

During an interview in late June the country pop star spilled the beans that she was planning a headline tour, then tweeted, “Hehe. Totally wasn’t suppose to say anything. Surprise. Details. Soon.”

The wait is over and details are here. With more dates to come, the initial schedule features 11 dates across the U.S. The tour kicks off in Houston Oct. 21 and runs through Dec. 10 in Las Vegas.

Ballerini has a ton of fair appearances lined up this summer, along with more dates on Rascal Flatts’ “Rhythm And Roots Tour.”

Her headline outing – “The First Time Tour” – takes its name from her debut studio album. The 2015 LP includes the singles “Love Me Like You Mean It” and “Peter Pan.”

The fall tour includes a hometown show in Knoxville, Tenn., at the Tennessee Theatre.

“I’ve been waiting for this since I left when I was 15. Can’t wait,” Ballerini tweeted today.
