Hannibal Buress Hits The Road

Prepare your mandibles North America, Chicago-born funnyman Hannibal Buress starts a run of live performances this Friday and has shows booked into November.

Buress is everywhere these days. He came up as a writer for “Saturday Night Live” and moved to “30 Rock” to write during a season the team won an Emmy. He has done comedy specials for Netflix and Comedy Central, currently appears on the show “Broad City” and regularly features on “The Eric Andre Show.”

The funnyman mixes up his styles depending on the program he is featured on, but he is one of the kings of awkward comedy, and his appearances at the  in Tampa, Fla., and Morrison, Colo., will likely put the strangeness on full display.

The first scheduled show is at  in Mashantucket, Conn., Aug. 5 and the dates run until Nov. 13 in St. Louis. Highlights on the trek include a four-night stand at the  in Portland in October and a two-night stay in Boston at next week.
