Slow Club Takes Its Time In International Tour

The group is in the UK until a three-night stand in its native Sheffield, England, which concludes Nov. 5. The first date is in London at Moth Club Aug. 16, three days before the LP is set to release.

The U.S. dates run from Nov. 10 in New York to Nov. 19 in San Diego, Calif. The dates mostly stick to the coasts, with one show in Chicago smack-dab in the middle of the run.

One Day All Of This Won’t Matter Anymore, Slow Club’s fourth studio album, is being billed as containing some of the group’s most mature writing and masterful musicianship. The album was cut in Spacebomb Studios with producer Matthew E. White and the studio’s house musicians. The new musicians add a country vibe to the band’s indie stylings.

The band prides itself on the ability to reinvent its sound while preserving a high-quality standard of hooks and melodies. A new music video for the single “In Waves” was just released today. It puts you in the perspective of band member Rebecca Taylor switching between point-of-view and selfie shots while the band holds down country-inspired tunes. Check it out:
