Breaking: Charges Dropped Against Insomniac’s Pasquale Rotella

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office dismissed all felony charges against Pasquale Rotella, founder of Insomniac, Aug. 4.

Rotella and Reza Gerami were accused of bribery and conspiracy to pay $1.9 million in kickbacks to former L.A. Memorial Coliseum event manager Todd DeStefano in exchange for helping them put on raves at the stadium.

“I always knew the charges were politically motivated and publicity driven,” Rotella said. “While it’s taken too long to finally put this behind me, I can now focus my energy where it belongs: my family and my company.  Thank you to everyone who has supported me through this.”
