The new dates kick of in Rochester, N.Y. Oct. 13 and continue until Nov. 12 in University Park, Penn. There are a good number of arenas on the bill, with  in Portland, Maine,  in Greenville, S.C., and  in Fairfax, Va., all in the routing.

The band is also scheduled to appear at  next month in Chicago.

The alternative-pop-rock mainstay has reportedly been approaching the end of the road for awhile, as frontman Jesse Lacey said in a show last year that “I want to tell you right here and now this isn’t going to last much longer. But it’s been so special for so long and for as long as it does last, we’re just so grateful [to] all of you for being here…” This was part of longer speech in which Lasey acknowledged that his life circumstances were changing and the members couldn’t continue touring and writing forever.

The good news is a new album has been confirmed to be released this year. The group has released a few new singles over the past years, and released a number of leaked demos from 2006 last year, but hasn’t had a proper studio album since 2009’s Daisy, so fans have something to get excited about.
