Bob Dylan’s Autumn Adventure

Phoenix, Charleston, Mobile, Orlando, Lubbock and Chattanooga are among the cities hosting Bob Dylan in the fall.  The trek begins only two days after he performs at “Desert Trip” in Indio, Calif.

In case you’ve been abducted by aliens, enjoying a Rip Van Winkle-like nap or just incommunicado for the past few months, is the classic rock extravaganza taking place at the Empire Polo Club, home to the annual .  Planned for weekends Oct. 7-9 and Oct. 14-16, Desert Trip’s lineup includes Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, Neil Young and The Who playing consecutive weekends.  Dylan’s Desert Trip evenings have him sharing the bill with The Rolling Stones Oct. 7 and Oct. 14.

Dylan’s latest album, Fallen Angels, features his takes on classic American tunes such as “Young At Heart,” “All Or Nothing At All” and “It Had To Be You.”  Songwriters whose works appear on the record include Johnny Mercer, Sammy Cahn, Hoagy Carmichael, Harold Arlen and Carolyn Leigh.
