Here Comes Some Sum 41

They don’t want to waste your time:

The “Don’t Call It A Sum-Back Tour” kicks off at the

Sum 41 has a new album coming out Oct. 13, titled 13 Voices. A music video for “Fake My Own Death,” a single off the new album was released a few months ago.

The album was written after frontman Deryck Whibley spent four months in a hospital, nearly dying due to alcohol abuse in 2014. Sum 41 used to largely glorify partying and the rock and roll lifestyle, but has been forced to address these issues since Whibley’s health deteriorated.

Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, a charity that helps musicians and music-industry workers, is a partner on the tour and fans will have the opportunity to donate and learn more about the work it does at the shows.

Superfans can purchase three different kinds of VIP experiences for $139, $199, and $299 respectively. All of these include tour posters and a vinyl copy of the album, early entry and a meet & greet. The more expensive packages include special onstage seating and a special invitation to a pre-show jam with Sum 41. There are only six and two tickets available for the more expensive packages at each show though.
