Rihanna is hotly tipped as well. The Sun columnist Dan Wootton writes he’s been tipped off by an NFL exec, who said that “there is nobody bigger in the world than Adele right now and organisers are doing absolutely everything they can to try to persuade her to sign up. She’s sold out every date on her tour, everyone wants a piece of her and they know they can bank on her bringing in the viewers.”

Adele, who just played a critically acclaimed headline set at Glastonbury and is currently on a U.S. tour, would be singing in front of her biggest audience yet – if you add the 100 million-plus viewers in front of their TV sets to the 71,000 plus people the NRG Stadium holds.
