It’s been more than 10 years since Bramhall has released a new LP.  During that time he collaborated with Eric Clapton and wrote songs for Sheryl Crow’s 2010 album, 100 Miles From Memphis, which he produced.

Bramhall also spent a considerable amount of time partaking in a “spiritual and musical journey” that included trips to India and Africa as the singer/songwriter sought out “new songs and an inner peace” following the 2011 death of his father, Doyle Bramhall.

Rich Man drops Sept. 30 on Concord Records.

“I’d been writing pretty consistently for other artists and projects since my last album and had stored a lot of songs, sort of documenting my life story,” Bramhall said.
