The band’s next show is the  in Henrico, Va., the meat and metal festival put on by the scoundrels of Gwar Aug. 20. After that, Against Me! is at  in Denver Sept. 3, then it’s mostly new headline dates from Sept. 14 to Sept. 28.

From Sept. 30 to Nov. 4 the group is on tour with Bad Religion, in a run that will stretch from the East to West Coast, moving through most regions.  is also on the menu Oct. 22.

The European dates open with a run in the U.K. Dec. 6, and then continue moving through the continent until Dec. 22, when the last show is scheduled in Berlin.

The huge routing is largely because Against Me! has a new album in the pipeline. The singles “333” and “Haunting, Haunted, Haunts” off the new album have been released and the full album, titled Shape Shift With Me, will be available in September.

The project has been described by the band as a “loose concept album about traveling the world and falling in and out of love” narrated from the perspective of transgender lead singer Laura Jane Grace, according to Rolling Stone.

In true punk rock fashion, Grace set fire to her birth certificate at a May show in North Carolina to protest the state’s controversial House Bill 2, which many have said introduces unfair legal restrictions against LGBTQ citizens.
