Breslin Center Revamp
A Michigan State University project manager says the first phase of a $50 million renovation project at the Breslin Student Events Center is about halfway done.
Jason VanZee tells the Lansing State Journal exterior work and most of the interior work on the northern entrances will be done before Aug. 29.
The former Gate D entryway has been extended outward, creating more room between the entrance and ticket takers. The concourse area around the stadium is also being widened 15 feet, with large brick sections jutting from the main structure.
