Claffey Returns To MSG As GM

Claffey will oversee all facility operations for the arena as well as The Theater at Madison Square Garden. He returns to MSG after leaving Radio City Music Hall in November to consult for various clients including MSG.

In addition to facility operations, Claffey will oversee planning and direction of building, event, food and merch, ticketing and construction operations. He will report to Hank Abate, executive VP of venue management.

In his previous role at MSG, Claffey served as senior VP and GM of theater and Rockettes operations, and directed all facility operations for Radio City Music Hall, The Beacon Theatre and The Chicago Theatre. He began his MSG career in 1983 as part of the Garden’s stage crew.
